Well Its That Time Again

Hi and Welcome to fresh-food-from-garden-2-plate:

Yes its getting to that time again very Quickly, and that is to cleaning up all the undergrowth, from the wet seasons we have had and a Prolificate, of growth this year with all the steady rains, and so clearing it all out from under and around the Back yard and Orchard, and Garden and mulching it all up for the compost Beds, and then after about 4 weeks of turning it over and keeping it damp, we mix in some mulch from the vegie Garden also waste from Rabbit Hutches, and sheep manure, from the sheep Paddock, then we spread it into the Mulch stalls to germinate.

And after a few weeks when its all broken down we then spread it over vacant Beds, that we are getting ready to plant out; then we Plant what ever we have that needs to be going into the ground, and keep it hoed up, and keep weeded until harvest time; and its keeps us very busy, we have planted Potatoes, caulieflowers, Lettuces, beens, broad beans, climbing beans, Pasely, Garlic, Leeks, Onions, Squash, Pumpkins, water Melon's, Peas, Cantelope, Silver Beet, so as you can see we are very busy, this time of year.

Also if you have any comments, to share with us please feel free, to do so, ok well, I'm off to clean out the Rabbitery and get all the rabbit pee, to give to the flowers and Pot plants.Also if you have any kind of Animal Pee, make sure you Mix it 25 Litre's to One of water, as its very strong, and Precious, to waste. Cleaning Rabbit Cages and Waste to Garden Bed's:

Welcome back to my Fresh-food-from-Garden-2-Plate:

Well today is Cleaning Cage Day, and all the Rabbit berries and wee go onto the Garden, and is worked into the beds and left for a couple of weeks; then it will be planted out with vegetable seeds and plants to grow our Spring veggies.

And I really love this time of the Year, when every thing is starting to grow awakened by the Spring time and all the frosts have gone for another year, and seeing all the new beds starting to grow vegetables, and even in the flower Garden new Spring flowers like Daffidills.

And tulips, and new daisies, and a whole new Landscape takes effect, everything becomes new, this beautiful Creation from God who is still alive and well in Heaven watching over all his Natural Gardens, and every one who Knows him as Father God, no better way to Live, that the Assurances of knowing who you belong too.

Ok back to the Cleaning,I only keep enough Rabbits in my new Rabbitery, to Fatten and Kill for food to eat with vegetables, and make Rabbit, and vegetable Sausage Rolls, Curries, Rabbit Dumplings, and lots of other dishes, which I will make a Post on later, so keep coming back as from now on this Blog is going to be a really great infomation Blog expecially for young Mom's and older alike, to gain infomation about cooking Vegetables and white meats.

See a couple of years ago I had a fall and broke my two bones at the back of my Ankle, called Fibular and Tibia, bones and then they found out I had Blood Clotting , and so have to now go on Maravan tablets to my utter disgust, but what else can a man do, then I found out through Research, that people with a bad heart need White meats and leave all the Red meats out of my diet, also eat plenty of raw vegetables, and Fruit to keep weight down.

Manure-for-my-winter-Garden

Welcome to my winter Garden;

Well we are now into Autumn, and even though there are still some nice sunny days around over this next 3 months, its time to redig over all the beds that are vacant now, and put some rich Compost on them and dig it into the soil also some of my rich Rabbit berries, which I Pulverise, into a nice fine powder,and mix some blood and bone, with it and spread it all over the top of the freshly dug soil, and then put a nice covering of good straw, and wet it down and then continue to the next bed, until I've done the same to all the vacant beds, and then when winter arrives, I can then work all the straw into the soil as well and plant, new winter crops.

Ok so when you have completed the whole Garden like this you should not have any not redug over and the only ones that are still vacant, should be the ones that need a good rest over winter, that have cropped very heavy during the spring and Summer, and aurtumn, they need a good supply of Rabbit berries pulverised with blood and bone, and a layer of thick straw, dampened down, as so as it won't blow all over the rest of the beds, and then you can have a good Garden during the Winter Months.

Cleaning Time before Bush Fires start

Hello and welcome to my Fresh-Food-From-Garden-2-Plate:

We are cleaning all the rubbish around the House and dwellings, before it gets to become a real fire Hazard, as its getting very dry now even the Gardens are consumming more water, to keep growing.

Yes its great to have plenty of Fresh-Food-From-Garden-2-Plate, And keeping the garden clean keeps fires away from the homestead.
Tonight we are having a nice cold salad, of fresh Lettues, Red Beet, Spring oinions, Tomatoes, cucumbers, salad dressing home made.

I just love all my garden s freshness its great feeling each day to know you can always get food, but we must never take it for granted, its here today and can be taken away tomorrow, the way our World is being told by very bad Government issiues, in how to run each country by evil Government, Controlled by the few, Greedy men in power, so stand up for what you believe is right and stick together, to bring them down.
Everything can get very Political every time we open the news paper some one has been badly done by, through wrong Justice systems, gone mad, give some people a little bit of power; and if they have had a bad upbringing they will surely abuse their rights with the power they are given, and look out.

Garden Bed of Lettuces

Bed of Corn, and Other bits and Pieces

Well here we are again, putting together a few more things to grow, as summer is quickly drawing to a close now and some colder days are approaching us, and a bit of rain is hanging about today, so all in all its going tosave a bit of watering for us again and we can save it instead of allowing it to be leached out of the soil., so what do you want me to share about my Tasmanian Garden with you, I'm not a Gardening Guru, like Doctor Peter Cundle, here in Tasmania as gardening Australia, Guy.

But I too can share with you about all types of Vegetables and Flowers, just like he does and remember so can you leave some comments on my Blog then we are being of good use not only to each other but also to other people around the Globe, every one loves to chat about their Gardens, and so they should its Fun seeing what we plant start to grow,and Produce food from our own Patch.
